About Flames of Hope
Flames of Hope is a dedicated non-profit organization serving the heart of Kamuli District, Eastern Uganda. Situated approximately 250 kilometers from the bustling capital city, our work is deeply integrated into the rural communities where we operate. We were founded on the belief that a safe and supportive environment is the first step to building a better life.
Our mission is to provide a haven for the most vulnerable members of society — orphans, widows, and underprivileged individuals — offering them the care, resources, and hope they need to overcome adversity. By focusing our efforts directly within the Kamuli District, we are able to build strong, lasting relationships and tailor our support to the specific needs of the community, ultimately working toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
